Hello world, I am Laura. As of now I am stuck in the pig's head that is Wales (UK). There is not much going on here and my social life is a bit of a non-starter. But hey...I am alive! I'm also very miserable at the moment, for various reasons, so if you find a lot of whiney, emo posts cropping up on my journal - I'm sorry.
I am equal part Atheist, equal part Pastafarian!

+++ Some of my favourite films are: Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amores Perros, The Godfather, Ed Wood, Stand By Me, The Dark Knight and pretty much anything starring Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, or Gael Garcia Bernal. ;)
+++ I am complete geek when it comes to Greek and now also Roman mythology. You can blame the HBO show "Rome" for the latter.
+++ Fave TV shows would be: Rome, Twin Peaks, Six Feet Under, Dexter, Curb Your Enthusiasm and, for sheer nostalgia - Dallas.
+++ I've started to love comics/graphic novels in the past year. So yeah, total geek, that is I.
+++ The only two sports that are worth anything to me are football/futbol/soccer and tennis. <3
